SUMMARY:THE CROSS from Gabby Hayes Trailhead
DESCRIPTION:This hike starts at the Gabby Hayes Trailhead, located at the Cahuilla Park Tennis Courts, connects with the Hopalong Cassidy Trail and continues to the Cross. Moderately challenging, this trek goes to the huge cross at the top with sweeping views of the Santa Rosa Mountains to the South and the Coachella Valley to the North and East. There will be some uneven terrain and a few steep, rocky sections. \nIt will be sunny (unless it’s not), so make sure sure you’ve got a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water, poles if you’re so inclined, proper hiking boots/shoes and positive vibes!  \nThe carpool fee is $3 (or $1.50 one way if you don’t want to leave!!!) \n \n \n
